Hello - ‘Creator’ of Norca Creator Lab, here!
[Did you build something today?]
About Me
I have been building, making, and designing things for my entire life. Being fascinated with how the world worked as a child, solving problems was something that motivated me, especially when it involved putting things together.
Building-type toys were my favorite - Legos, K’nex, Erector sets, Skyrail, Rokenbok, and model trains.
Many years later, in high school; I would finally (maybe too late) learn that “Engineering” is the profession that uses manipulating the world to solve problems. It has built the modern world, to the point where it is unfathomable to imagine how everything functional around us was designed or made. This world is hidden from most of us.
Shipping off to college, I learned the fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering school, and graduated with my Bachelor of Science - and found my passion of applying it in the Space Industry. Shortly after, I got my Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering, leading to my day job as an integrator of payloads to spacecrafts, spanning all the engineering disciplines.
However, I believe the most important thing in the bigger picture lies in education for kids to question and problem solve, and get into that hidden world of engineering. This is why I adopted this hobby of designing and making projects, ultimately for other people to experience, and share with their families. This started with the first major project I longed to envision, making a fully mechanical clock with things you can do just at home.
So, I hope you enjoy my products, and most of all, have fun. I also appreciate any and all feedback you would care to give me, which is the cornerstone of improvement. After all, the human genius comes from our intellectual strength with many minds in discourse.
